CLIENT TESTIMONIALS

"Your Professional LxH Model is the most detailed and useful spinal disc model I have ever encountered. It illustrates not only the normal anatomy of a Lumbar disc segment, but its innervation, pathoanatomy of annular tears, and how the tear progresses to disc herniation when the spine is loaded in flexion and extension. This model is extremely valuable in helping me explain my patient's pain and how I plan to address the pathoanatomy with my endoscopic minimally invasive techniques."

“This model with the bulging nucleus is exactly what we see in real discs - its brilliant. It is a perfect teaching tool to illustrate the difference between flexion motion and flexion moment/torque and the disc bulge as an injury mechanism.”

"I cannot tell you how much I use the Professional LxH lumbar disc model.  I have had it 2 years+ and it is still good as new.  Thanks again."

"This is the best model lumbar spine I have seen. I am proud to possess one. It will be of great value when explaining to my patients as well as in my research using Upright MRI "

"Got the models a few weeks back and they are fantastic. Great job with them, I will definitely be referring others to you. They have been invaluable in educating patients."

"I am writing regarding your "Classic LxH" model spine, with ligamentum flavum, interspinous ligament, cauda equina, and herniated nucleus pulposus (EpiLxH Model).
Our hospital anesthesiology department and OB department are thrilled with the high quality and ease of use of the Classic LxH for explaining epidurals not only to the patients having spinal anesthesia, and to expectant mothers for whom we are placing epidurals, but also in helping our OB nurses better understand the issues and concerns facing anesthesiologists and CRNAs, and in helping train new residents and SRNAs as they learn to place epidurals for the first time.
The expectant mothers comments:  "Now I understand why I need to sit hump-backed!"  "I feel much more comfortable, knowing what you are doing and how I can help make it easier on myself!" "I am glad you explained it to me."
Nurses comments; "Oh, so that is why you want them to sit slouched over!"  "Now we can see why you may have trouble sometimes, placing epidurals and spinals."  "Now we can understand much better what you are doing, and how we can help you with patient positioning."
Resident/SRNA and even CRNA comments, "Big help on placement!  Much easier to get the 'feel' on the model than doing it in real life for the first time!"  "Gives a much clearer understanding than a photograph! Easier to visualize what I need to be doing and why." "Using the model, I learned how to 'walk off' a bony protuberance." Also, "Really helped me understand how a paramedian spinal approach works and how to make it more effective."
Dr. Fryer, we are very pleased with our model!  We even let the nurses try to place epidurals in it, and that has greatly increased interest in and participation in training classes for new and older nurses!  Thanks so much for an excellent product!  We are so glad we purchased this model and look forward to using it for years to come.
We are glad somebody thought of this. It was long overdue!"

update....

"Near the end of July 2011, our hospital purchased from your company a spine model for teaching and learning placement of epidurals.
We have been very happy with this model. From showing our labor and delivery nurses what we are doing with epidural placement, to teaching CRNAs and SRNAs how to place epidurals, we have used this spine model continuously since our purchase in July 2011. Not only is this a wonderful teaching tool, but we have also been quite pleased with the way this model is holding up to our use.
Thanks so much for an excellent product. It is tough to have the model hold up when the model gets rather large needles inserted on a regular basis but it is still doing well and we are pleased. Good job! Strong work!"

"Dynamic Disc Designs spinal segmental models are unique in many ways and represent a new standard in quality and anatomical detail far superior to any of their predecessors.  Their value far exceeds their cost."

"I am very pleased with the 2 models I have purchased from Dynamic Disc Designs.  They seem to be very well made & are very helpful in demonstrating the three dimensional structure of the spine, including the disc mechanics.  I don’t know of any other models that are as good."

"I use the Dynamic Disc as a teaching tool in my clinic for patients and with doctors at the CLEAR Scoliosis Seminars. With the Dynamic Disc it is easy to show how restoring the lordosis corrects the disc herniation. It promotes compliance with patients for structural correction and understanding with the doctors. Every doctor of Chiropractic should have one of these in their clinic."

"The bone models purchased from Dynamic Disc Designs are the best I've seen yet.  I personally use them on a daily basis for patient education. In addition, they have been a helpful visual aid during litigation proceedings. Seriously, a bone model is worth a thousand words. "

"I would like to thank you and your company Dynamic Disc Designs Corp. for creating a realistic product that can be considered worthy of being in a health care office.  This product makes it so much easier to show a 3D reference while explaining MRI's and X-rays results to the patients.  I actually did not really use 3D models before because of their lack of realism.  Please keep on developing your models and I would highly recommend you to everyone. "The LxH disc model is the most realistic patient education tool I've seen in 27 years of practice. When patients see the model, they immediately "get it". If you treat herniated discs in your practice, this is a must have. I commend Dr. Fryer on his painstaking efforts to produce such a finely crafted and well thought out model. Every chiropractor needs the LxH. I look forward to more innovative products in the future, and I will continue to enthusiastically recommend the models to all my colleagues!"

"Finally, a realistic spinal model that can demonstrate real-life spine injuries. And importantly, show load related pain problems like disc herniations, disc bulge, nerve root and dural sac encroachment with a dynamic deforming load sensitive model. Explain high intensity zones ( active inflammation ), for example, of annular tears on MRI with a see-through vertebral lens and view of the intervertebral disc. A powerful educational tool for any Personal Injury Lawyer involved with spinal related injuries."

"Wow! This is the best lumbar disc model I've ever seen. Patients see and believe! You can demonstrate the problem and the solution. I'm amazed at the construction of this model. Awesome job."
